Melissa Blue

A tidbit of wonderfulness...

Melissa...

I have known Melissa for many years. She and her husband, Jeff, would come by when I had my little shop on the coast to find items they needed to complete a house they had just bought. I would also run into Melissa in the wee hours of the morning at a flea market, garage sale or swap meet and we developed a friendship through our junkin' forays. One day a few years ago, Melissa heard that I was going to start this show. She asked if she could have a booth at Remnants. I was surprised and she explained that Jeff was really wanting her to clear out the garage. How many times have we heard that one before ladies? I knew Melissa had great taste so I quickly said yes. Melissa has been with me since. Melissa is always a little nervous about her displays and how everything will look but wait until you see her booth. This woman has nothing to worry about. From the moment that bell rings at the beginning of the show, the women flock to her booth. Her husband, Jeff, just stands there with a big smile on his face as he visualizes a clean garage while the treasures leave. He must know that Melissa will just fill it up again. He can dream... while we dream of what treasures Melissa will bring to the next show. You will find Melissa in the Barn and make sure your hands are free to pick up all the goodies she will certainly have.

  1. Like the display in the first photo. Old dress forms and urns; timeless.

  2. Lovely things. I agree, timeless. I wish I could make the trip north to see everything in person! Maybe next year when my littlest one is a bit older. Looks like it's going to be a great show.
