Meet my friend Barb. I met Barb a year ago. I am sure that you have all experienced when you meet a new friend and you are immediately kindred spirits. Well, that is how I felt about Barb. Recently, Barb decided to make a life change and when she makes a change, Barb goes for the gusto! Our wonderful town, San Luis Obispo, is putting on a contest called Share SLO. Everyone who lives in SLO loves SLO for all the unique things it offers. And everyone who visits falls a little bit in love with it, too. Share SLO thought it would go one better by bringing a little bit of SLO to the outside world – the best way to do that is through social media. Introducing the SLO Ambassador Contest – an all-hands-on-deck search to find just the right local to represent the City as the new Social Ambassador. So of course, I feel that Barb is the perfect person for this position along with her cute and perfect companion Betsy. Barb has an enthusiasm and a true heart for San Luis Obispo.
