I am finally up for a breath of air…What a weekend! Let me tell you what happened…
When the tents arrived, I started to get excited. I set up my booth a day ahead of my vendors so I can be a help when they all arrive. I love the quiet time of creating. Being out at Judi’s barn is amazing. When I gazed out from my spot, I can see the wheat moving like waves across the hills then the scent of the citrus trees. Oh Heaven! It is funny. I always think that I won’t have enough merchandise for the show but then as I start opening the boxes…what was I thinking! Now I don’t have enough table space. I start puttering away and before I know it, I have everything where I want it. A glass of wine and I am off in dream land.
Friday has arrived and the vendors are so excited to be here. It is a beautiful day. This is the best part is seeing all my new found friends and seeing all the treasures they have collected for the show. It is organized chaos. I am trying to shop but I am so overwhelmed with everything that I gave up.

The night before the event I give a dinner for all the vendors to show my appreciation for all their hard work.

What a great day! I want to thank Judi, Ed, Carol, Charlotte,Jenny, my sister, Janice and my brother-in-law, Jack, and most of all my family, Stephen, my love, Ryan, my son and Devon, my daughter, for all your support. Love you all...

ReplyDeleteFabulous show Judy, loved it all. Congratulations on another fine one. The vendors were great, delicious food, and a variety of beautiful treasures could be found. If I wanted to contact a vendor for another item, can you help me with that? Thanks again, well done.
ReplyDeleteLove this Judy - great pictures! I have you on my "links" - will you add me to yours? Love you, P.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to thank you for putting on such a wonderful event. Everything, just everything was done beautifully. The setting was so welcoming and all of the festive touches in the way of flowers and all was country elegance at its best. The vendors brought fabulous treasures and I have not recently experienced such a fun and friendly crowd. I am already looking forward to your next one in October! I posted pics of this first class event on my site for anyone who would like to see more. Thanks, Judy. You made my day!

ReplyDeleteHi Judy,
ReplyDeleteI was at your amazing sale last Oct, and this past April.
That is my husband on the sofa on the left in the picture.
Anyway we met this lovely couple who had a French booth. They take people on trips to France etc. We cannot find their card and we want to talk to them about taking one of their trips.
Could you please email me with their number or email address. Thanks so much,
Rosemary
PS. I would also like to be a seller one day at your wonderful sale.
