Why can't we be on vacation all the time...

Pure bliss is all I can say. I didn't want to come home. My husband, son and I went to Kauai for two weeks. The last time I was in Kauai was 17 years ago. I was running after a two year old and it was all a blur. All I remember is WARM water. This time I was able to absorb every minute. We stayed in Princeville the first week and then headed over to Poipu

This is the short hike that we took to get to Anini beach. It was so beautiful and peaceful...

I love how the trees come right up to the water.

We met up with a family friend that belongs to a canoe club. I got to try my hand paddling an outrigger. Lots of fun.

Well...I won't bore you with any more pictures, because I have hundreds. Needless to say...it was wonderful! Back to reality. Over 600 emails, answering machine full and lots of laundry. What happened to when you came back from vacation and all you had to worry about was the laundry.

Keep checking back. My daugher, Devon, who works for Anthropologie will be starting a blog called Wardrobe Chic. I am wardrobe challenged and Devon keeps me looking presentable. It will be a fashion blog but catering to the 30 to 60 year old woman. As Devon is always telling me...she is trying to keep me out of Chicos for my clothes. I will keep you posted!
