I met Jenny and Melissa of The JunkGirls around 3 years ago. Not only are these two women incredibly talented but also very kind. There essence of who they are is reflected in their art and I know that you will enjoy their amazing creative booth as I do each show. Here is a little insight into Jenny and Melissa.
Jenny...
1. What is the funniest item that you have purchased from a antique show or flea market? and why?
I probably pick up a lot of things people think are funny, and I just think they are cool.
2. If you had to leave your home because of a natural disaster, what antique collection of yours would you grab first and why?
My art because like a diary, it is a record of my journey.
3. If you were to write a book about your life, what would the title be and why?
"Cherish the Journey" Because I have learned to trust that life is a journey and everything you experience, good or bad, makes you who you are.
Melissa...
1. What is the funniest antique item that you have purchased from a antique show or flea market? and why?
I agree with Jenny :-)
2. If you had to leave your home because of a natural disaster, what antique collection of yours would you grab first and why?
My collection of my Mother's handwork; quilts, wall hangings, embroidery, because it is something I can't replace.
3. If you were to write a book about your life, what would the title be and why?
"Lucky". I am lucky to be following my dream and feel that I have found my creative voice.
Please welcome Jenny and Melissa!

We love those girls!
ReplyDeleteThey have inspired me to go forth and try! Even if I think I can't. One day we will meet in person! Just wish it could be at your show.
