Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I love the whole process of picking the perfect tree with my family, sitting by the fireplace drinking hot cocoa, the decorations, music and reflecting on the reason this is such a special time of year. I love creating new traditions with my family. One year, my husband, Stephen, surprised the kids and I with tickets to see Hearst Castle all dressed up for the holidays. I will never forget that evening. I remember boarding the bus to take the drive up to the castle and seeing it all in lights with an rosy color reflecting off the walls from the setting sun of the ocean. Pure bliss.... As my family and I walked the grounds and heard the history of the castle, I thought how special this time of year is whether you live in a castle or in a tiny home. Everyone has their Christmas traditions and how each family loves remembering them whether grand or humble.
I am excited to announce a that I am partnering with The Nature Corps to celebrate a special evening at the Hearst Castle. The State Parks provide Evening Tours that allow visitors to travel back in time and experience the Castle as one of Mr. Heart's own visitors might have during the 1930's. You will have a chance to win free Evening Tour tickets and to see the Castle with my family and I. To enter to win 2 tickets to an Evening Tour of Hearst Castle and a one night stay in a hotel in San Luis Obispo, CA, you will be given three questions during the next two weeks about the Castle and if you answer all three questions correctly, you will be entered to win two free tickets to see this wonderful Castle all dressed up for the Christmas. Enter here, and I cannot wait to see you at the Castle!
