Antiques from France

I met Terry from Antiques from France many years ago at the Alameda Flea Market and was immediately taken by her unique finds from France but also by the simplicity and clarity of her booth. It just felt good! Welcome back Terry!

--What is the funniest antique item that you have purchased from an antique show or flea market? and why?

1 1/2 inch tall, hand sewn, anatomically correct boy and girl dolls from 1820's. Bought in Hendaye France, on the Spanish border.

--If you had to leave your home because of a natural disaster, what collection of yours would you grab first and why?

I wouldn't grab a thing, I would look at it as a buying opportunity. There is always more stuff, it's your loved ones who are in short supply.

--If you were to write a book about your life, what would the title be and why?

What Could Possibly Be Next?

Terry also offers tours to France so take a peek at her website, here.

xoxo
